Maybeck Audio Producers Contribute to Berkeley Art Piece

Last spring, the Maybeck Audio Production was visited by composer and sound artist Danny Clay to discuss his upcoming project for the newly renovated Downtown Berkeley BART station. For this project, he enlisted the help of students from various area schools, including our Maybeck audio producers, to perform and record sounds inspired by these prompts:

Think of the place where you live.
Think of a sound from that place which you find beautiful.
Think of a sound you'd like to bring to that place to make it more beautiful.

The resulting work "From Place to Place" is now being presented at the Downtown Berkeley Bart station through June 14th.
