Maybeck Parents and Guardians Association
Dear Maybeck Families,
The Maybeck Parents Association (MPA) supports community-building among families, serves as a bridge between families and Maybeck’s staff, organizes events, including “Pineapple Jams*,” and hosts meetings. We look forward to your participation and input.
All parents and guardians are automatically members of the MPA. MPA meetings usually happen two or three times a semester and are open to everyone. We have a terrific group of parent leaders who plan and execute events and welcome your help throughout the year.
We are excited to have this opportunity to work with the Maybeck community. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting or event. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions, concerns, or ideas at mpa@maybeckhs.org.
Warmly,
Your MPA Co-Chairs, Tanya Willacy (Bella- 12th Grade) and Torrie Lloyd-Masters (Willa- 11th Grade)
*Pineapple Jams are parent-hosted events that encourage community building among Maybeck families and staff. Pineapple Jams are FREE events.
Past Pineapple Jams have included cocktail parties, knitting lessons, bee-keeping 101, and more. Maybeck parents, staff, alumni, and friends donate their time and expertise as hosts. All members of the Maybeck community and their guests may attend if there is enough space (though some events are Adults Only).
If you have an idea and/or would like to host a Pineapple Jam (or have questions), please reach out to us. Let the brainstorming begin!
